Open-source component source code
TidyWren contains open-source components, some of them under the GNU LGPL or the Mozilla Public License: their licenses require giving you access to their exact source code, the one of the shipped version. This page gives, for each TidyWren version, the direct link to that source code. The full list of components and their licenses ships with the program: the licences folder, opened from “About” > “Component licenses”.

On request to contact@tanven.dev, Tanven sends a copy of this source code to anyone who asks, for no more than the cost of the medium and shipping, for at least three years after the last distribution of the version concerned, and for as long as Tanven provides support for that version.
Replacing the Qt libraries
TidyWren loads Qt 6.11.2 and PySide6 6.11.2 from separate files, shipped as they are, without any change: the Qt libraries (Qt6Core.dll, Qt6Gui.dll, Qt6Widgets.dll, Qt6Svg.dll, Qt6Network.dll and the plugins folder) and the PySide6 modules (QtCore.pyd, QtGui.pyd, QtNetwork.pyd, QtWidgets.pyd, pyside6.abi3.dll, __init__.py), in the _internal\PySide6 folder of the program, and shiboken6 in _internal\shiboken6. To use your own version of these libraries (modified or rebuilt), close TidyWren, then replace these files with yours, compatible with these versions: TidyWren loads them the next time it starts. By default, the program folder is C:\Program Files\TidyWren; replacing a file there requires an administrator account. Windows protects the folder of a Microsoft Store app: in that case, use the version to install from https://tanven.dev, which contains the same files.
